Numbness in Feet: Connected to Hepatitis C?
I was diagnosed with Hep C about 40 years ago. My liver enzymes are good. I have no cirrhosis. Also have been tested for cryoglobulemia and am negative. My problem is numbness in my toes and feet. I am not diabetic. Can this still beĀ connected with Hep. C? What do you recommend?
I recommend having an osteopath or a chiropractor check for a lower spinal impingement. I would also take Vinpocetine. This is the strongest agent for peripheral circulation. Start at 20 mg twice a day with meals and slowly increase the dosage until you experience less numbness in toes and feet. I would also take R+Lipoic Acid 300 mg twice a day with meals and Phosphatidyl Serine 200 mg twice daily with meals. Phosphatidyl Serine heals nerves and Lipoic Acid cleans up neurotoxins. This is not a direct Hep C problem. - Steven Finkbine
