Varicella (Shingles) has been increasingly common in our clinic of late. Also we have been seeing more cases in young healthy teenagers and adults. Our treatment of shingles shares much in common with herpes simplex as they both infect nerve endings. If the patient is elderly and weak acetyl glutathione will build the strength to get better. We will also use Vitamin D3 and membrane complex in this way.
Our favorite direct antiviral for treating shingles is Argentyn 23.
We use quite a few nerve healers in treating shingles foremost phosphatidyl serine and membrane complex.
Lastly we use a Honeysuckle Combination internally to dry up the lesions. This both helps heal the skin and has antiviral properties. This formula will vary depending on the presentation of the case, but will often include Melissa, Sarasparilla, Milk thistle, and Red Clover as well.
